Highlights From Signature Theatre's Sunday in the Park With George

Arlington, Virginia's Signature Theatre brings art to life with Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Sunday in the Park With George. Claybourne Elder stars as French Post-Impressionist Georges Seurat in the first act and as Seurat's American great-grandson George (also a painter) in the second act. Brynn O'Malley plays Seurat's lover Dot, then George's grandmother Marie. Matthew Gardiner directs the production. Performances run through Sept. 21. Read the Playbill story.
