Highlights From the Public Theater Production of Broadway-Bound Fun Home

Based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, the Jeanine Tesori (music) and Lisa Kron (book and lyrics) musical Fun Home, which received a 2013 world premiere at the Public Theater, is now bound for a 2015 Broadway run. Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris and Tony nominee Judy Kuhn headed the cast in the story of the Bechdel family, whose one-of-a-kind patriarch (Cerveris) leaves lasting influences on his adult daughter (Beth Malone) even after his death. Sam Gold has been tapped to helm the show once again. Read the Playbill story.
