Highlights From The Public Theater's Into the Woods, Part 1

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods intertwines classic fairytales including Cinderella, Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel and Jack and the Beanstalk, to tell stories of wishes granted and the costs that go along with them. The production, staged on a tree-covered set that rises over 50 feet in the air, stars Donna Murphy, Denis O'Hare, Jessie Mueller and Amy Adams and is directed by Timothy Sheader and Liam Steel in a new incarnation of their 2010 Regent's Park Open Air Theatre London staging.
