Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods intertwines classic fairytales including Cinderella, Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel and Jack and the Beanstalk, to tell stories of wishes granted and the costs that go along with them. The Shakespeare in the Park production, playing at the Delacorte Theater through Sept. 1, stars Donna Murphy, Chip Zien, Denis O'Hare and Amy Adams and is directed by Timothy Sheader and Liam Steel in a new incarnation of their 2010 Regent's Park Open Air Theatre London staging.
