Highlights From War Horse

Featuring complex and lifelike equine puppets, the National Theatre of Great Britain production of War Horse charges onto the stage at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater. War Horse tells the story of a British lad named Albert who sets out on a harrowing journey to reclaim his beloved horse, Joey, who was requisitioned into military service in World War I. Punctuated by recorded and live music, and projected animation, the play is based on the youth novel of the same name.
