Holler If Ya Hear Me: Hip Hop on the Great White Way

Visionary rapper Tupac Shakur's songs and poetry-set-to-music comprise the score of Holler If Ya Hear Me, the new musical that tells a story of family, community and tragedy. Fresh off a Tony win for A Raisin in the Sun, director Kenny Leon helms the production featuring slam poet, actor, singer and musician Saul Williams ("Slam") as John, Christopher Jackson as Vertus, Saycon Sengbloh as Corinne and Tony winner Tonya Pinkins as Mrs. Weston. Book is by Todd Kreidler. Read the Playbill story.
