Montego Glover Gets Ready to "Sing Sing Swing" With the New York Pops

Tony nominee Montego Glover will perform with the New York Pops on Nov. 1 in "Sing Sing Swing," a tribute to the 75th anniversary of Benny Goodman's live recording at Carnegie Hall. Held at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, the concert will be conducted by music director Steven Reineke and feature clarinetist Dave Bennett. Playbill caught up with Glover in rehearsals, where she sang a preview of two songs accompanied by rehearsal pianist Anthony DeAngelis. We also spoke to Glover and Reineke about the original Benny Goodman concert, and what audiences can expect from the evening. For more information, read the Playbill story.
