OBSESSED!: Classically Trained Seth Gets Well Strung

In preparation for their series of shows running through Nov. 10 at NYC's Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, singing string quartet Well Strung joins Seth to obsess over some classical tunes as well as some pop divas. Composed of Edmund Bagnell (first violinist and vocalist), Chris Marchant (2nd violinist, vocalist), Daniel Shevlin (cellist and vocalist) and Trevor Wadleigh (violist), the four hunky clad-in-black musicians move seamlessly between classical concertos and the latest hits by the likes of Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Here, they break down — then break into — Pink's "So What," a rousing anthem with a unique string arrangement by Shevlin. Meanwhile Seth, himself a classically trained and frustrated violinist, tries his best to keep up. For tickets and info, visit brownpapertickets.com. For Seth's weekly column, click here.
