PLAYBILL EATS: Desmond’s Steakhouse Offers 100,000 Welcomes

Located only a few short blocks from Times Square, Desmond’s Steakhouse takes a modern approach to the quintessential New York steakhouse. The menu features dry-aged (28-35 days) USDA prime beef, which is fired up on a 1500-degree grill. As chef Silvestre Mora tosses some steaks on the grill (accompanied by hash browns and asparagus), owner Paul Hurley chats about the mission of the restaurant and the origin of the Desmond’s name.
