Without the use of instruments Toxic Audio, according to a press notes, "create complex sonic textures, rhythmic drumbeats, thumping bass lines and searing guitar-like solos in their performance of contemporary pop songs, timeless classics, jazz-scat and vocally orchestrated original compositions." In 2004 the group played over 200 performances at Off-Broadway's John Houseman Theatre.
