Dratch, Berkley, Lillard, McCarthy, Sheedy More Star in 24-Hour Fringe 24 is 10

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of "The 24 Hour Plays" and the New York International Fringe Festival, performers Rachel Dratch, Elizabeth Berkley, Matthew Lillard, Andrew McCarthy, Ally Sheedy and more will star in 24 is 10: The Best of The 24 Hour Plays.

Scheduled to run Aug. 22-27, five different lineups of 25 ten-minute plays from the company's previous mountings will play at the Lucille Lortel Theatre with rotating casts.

Original casts and other alumni performing include Dratch ("Saturday Night Live"), Elizabeth Berkley ("Showgirls"), Matthew Lillard ("Scooby Doo"), Andrew McCarthy ("Pretty in Pink"), Ally Sheedy ("The Breakfast Club"), Andre Royo, muMs ("Oz") and Brent Cox. The plays are penned by David Lindsay-Abaire, Warren Leight, Theresa Rebeck, Jeff Whitty, Christopher Shinn, Will Eno, Adam Bock, Mike Doughty, John Belluso, Elizabeth Meriwether, Michael John Garces and more.

In keeping with "The 24 Hour Plays" tradition of speedy theatre, the works will begin rehearsals the morning of each show. Further casting will be available on the website (www.24hourplays.com).

Dream State, Or The Subconsious Burlesque by Angel David
Bus Stop by Candido Tirado, (featuring Brent Cox and Julie Wright)
