The long-incubating new musical revue Her Song, which has been in previews at Birdland since May 5, will finally open at the famed jazz club Sept. 24.

The 90-minute revue features tunes penned by women songwriters for Broadway, Hollywood and radio. Gabrielle Lee, Kate Manning, Kelly McCormick, Trisha Rapier, Gabrielle Stravelli, Heidi Weyhmueller and Emma Zaks star under the direction of Dori Levitt.

Her Song was co-conceived by Brenda and Barry Levitt and features a book by the former and musical direction by the latter. Among the songwriters featured in Her Song are Katharine Lee Bates, Nora Bayes, Marilyn Bergman, Betty Comden, Dorothy Fields, Ellie Greenwich, Billie Holliday, Carolyn Leigh, Peggy Lee, Edith Piaf, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Dolly Parton, Carly Simon, Donna Summer, and Cynthia Weil.

Her Song performs Saturdays and Sundays at 5:30 PM. Birdland is located in Manhattan at 315 West 44th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. There is a $40 cover charge and a $10 food-drink minimum. Call (212) 581-3080 for reservations.
