SPF and Mayor's Office Present "Producing 101" Panel Dec. 9

By Zachary Pincus-Roth
13 Nov 2006

A free panel entitled "Producing 101: How to Get a Show Up — and Get an Audience In" will be presented at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row on Dec. 9 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.

The Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting (MOFTB) and The Living Room for Artists/Summer Play Festival (SPF) are presenting the panel, which is the fourth in a series of panels on careers in the theatre that the MOFTB and SPF have teamed to present this year.

Panelists will include Sharon Fallon (independent producer and co-chair of the League of American Theatres and Producers' New Producers Alliance), Chad Beckim and Molly Pearson (co-founders and producers of the Partial Comfort Theatre Company), Seth Goldstein (producer and general manager of The Splinter Group) and Victor Lirio (chief artistic and producing officer of the Diverse City Theater Company). Katherine Oliver, the commissioner of the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting (MOFTB), will moderate.

To make a reservation, RSVP to message@film.nyc.gov by December 7.

The Acorn Theatre is at Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street between Ninth and Tenth Avenues.
