Twyla Tharp's The Times They Are A-Changin’ — the new musical featuring the songs of Bob Dylan — closes Nov. 19 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Following 28 performances and 35 previews, the musical that began previews Sept. 25 and opened Oct. 26, ends its run on Broadway. No plans for a cast album have been announced.

Billed as "fable [that] exists in a dreamscape populated by the members of a struggling circus," The Times They Are A-Changin' "tells the timeless story of two generations at odds... and the young man who breaks free from his father's expectations to find his place in the world."

James L. Nederlander, Hal Luftig/Warren Trepp, Debra Black, East of Doheny, Rick Steiner/ Mayerson Bell Group, Terry Allen Kramer, Patrick Catullo and Jon B. Platt/ Roland Sturm produced the Broadway run.

Original stars of the Old Globe world premiere Michael Arden (Big River, Swimming in the Shallows, Bare) and Thom Sesma (Man of La Mancha, Nick & Nora, La Cage Aux Folles) are joined on Broadway by Lisa Brescia (The Woman in White, Aida). (Brescia replaced Caren Lyn Manuel who had replaced the San Diego run's star Jenn Colella. Both Colella and Manuel appear in the new Broadway musical High Fidelity, which begins Nov. 20.)

Movin' Out veteran John Selya appears in the ensemble with Lisa Gajda (Spamalot, Movin' Out), Neil Haskell, Jason McDole, Charlie Neshyba-Hodges (Movin' Out), Jonathan Nosan and Ron Todorowski. Alex Brady, Lisa Brescia, John Herrera, Alaine Kashian, Keith Kuhl, Marty Lawson, Joseph Putignano, Cary Tedder and Jason Wooten complete the company.

The song list includes "The Times They Are A-Changin'," "Highway 61 Revisited," "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right," "Just Like a Woman," "Like a Rolling Stone," "Everything Is Broken," "Desolation Row," "Rainy Day Women," "Mr. Tambourine Man," "Man Gave Names to All the Animals," "Masters of War," "Blowin' in the Wind," "Please, Mrs. Henry," "On a Night Like This," "Lay Lady Lay," "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight," "Simple Twist of Fate," "Summer Days," "Gotta Serve Somebody," "Not Dark Yet," "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," "Maggie's Farm," "I Believe in You," "Dignity," and "Forever Young."

The Times They Are A-Changin' performs at the Brooks Atkinson, 256 West 47th Street. For more information, visit the show's website at www.timestheyareachangin.com.
