Mamma Mia! Stars Will Be "Dancing Queens" on New Year's Eve Celebration

Carol Linnea Johnson, Robin Baxter and Vicki Van Tassel, who star in the Las Vegas production of Mamma Mia!, will perform on the New Year's Eve countdown special on the local CBS affiliate in the desert city.

The holiday special will be broadcast on CBS affiliate KLAS Channel 8 on Dec. 31 at 11 PM. The three singing actresses will perform Mamma Mia!'s "Dancing Queen."

Featuring music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and a book by Catherine Johnson, the creative team for Mamma Mia! includes Anthony Van Laast (choreography), Mark Thompson (production design), Howard Harrison (lighting design), Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken (sound design) and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

Mamma Mia! has played over 1,500 performances in Sin City at the Mandalay Bay Theatre.
