Spring Awakening
Spring Awakening extended several times during its Off-Broadway premiere at the Atlantic Theater Company. Keeping the entire young cast intact, the producers transferred the show to Broadway where critics again gave the show accolades. They were impressed by, among other things, the authentic pop/rock score written by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater.
