The Sound of Music
Connie Fisher has opened the floodgates for aspiring reality television/musical theatre performers. Her performance in the hit BBC show "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" earned her the role of Maria in Andrew Lloyd Webber's revival of The Sound of Music in the West End. While theatre insiders were wary of the concept, Fisher's Maria has proven to be a success, as she garnered very positive reviews in her West End debut.
