Following a four-week run at China's Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change will embark on a national tour of China in 2007.
Slated to kick off in Beijing, the list of tour dates and other cities will be announced shortly.
James Hammerstein Productions, Bernie Kukoff and Jonathan Pollard produce the Off-Broadway run directed by Joel Bishoff. The show is now in its 11th year in New York.
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change features music by Jimmy Roberts with a book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro. The musical comedy that delves into the world of dating, love and marriage is also the longest-running musical revue in New York history, having broken the record set by Smokey Joe's Cafe.
DiPietro was also the book writer for the Broadway musical All Shook Up, which featured the music of Elvis Presley.
I Love You, You're Perfect has enjoyed success throughout the world, having opened in over 400 different cities including Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Toronto, Chicago, London, Tel Aviv, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Budapest, Sydney, Prague, Seoul, Buenos Aires, Milan, Berlin, Dublin, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro and Johannesburg.
