Morton, Lippa, Lavin, Grimes, Danieley, Hines to Play Metropolitan Room

Euan Morton, Andrew Lippa, Linda Lavin, Tammy Grimes, Jason Danieley and Maurice Hines are among the upcoming acts at the Flatiron district cabaret space The Metropolitan Room.

Morton will perform on four Sundays — April 15, April 22, May 6 and May 13. Lavin will perform May 4-7. Grimes will perform April 4-5 and April 12. Danieley (from the upcoming musical Curtains) premieres a new show on March 11 and March 19, both at 9:30.

Lippa reprises his show Andrew Lippa, Asphalt Beach and Assorted Divas Feb. 26 at 9:30 PM. Hines appears in An Evening with Maurice Hines Feb. 16-17 at 10:30 PM and Feb. 18 at 9:30 PM.

Lennie Watts bids farewell to performing with a Barry Manilow tribute called Manilow '73 to '83 on March 4-5, March 11-12, March 19 and March 26, all at 7 PM.

Michael Amante will perform March 8 at 8 PM, March 9 and 10 at 8 PM and 10 PM. Marilyn Maye will perform March 22-24 at 8 PM and 10:30 PM, March 25 at 7 PM, March 29-31 at 8 PM and 10:30 PM and April 1 at 7 PM.

Other shows include Baby Jane Dexter's premiere You're Following Me!, which is currently running through Feb. 24; and Eric Comstock's Manhattan Masters, which is currently running through Feb. 26.
