Nobel Prize-winning playwright Harold Pinter will guest on "Charlie Rose" March 1.

Pinter will discuss his performance in Beckett's Krapp's Last Tape; his experiences as a playwright, screenwriter, poet and actor; his Nobel lecture; his political activism; and his thoughts on the shape and legacy of his career. Fellow dramatists, actors and directors will also share their thoughts about the famed playwright.

"Charlie Rose" airs in the metropolitan area on WNET Channel 13 at 11 PM ET; check local listings.

Harold Pinter's Broadway works include The Caretaker, The Homecoming, The Birthday Party, Old Times, No Man's Land, Betrayal and The Hothouse. He also directed Broadway productions of The Man in the Glass Booth, Butley, The Innocents and Otherwise Engaged. Pinter received a 1967 Tony Award for Best Play for The Homecoming.
