Messing, Wilson, Kind, Cerveris, Bosco to Celebrate Shakespeare's 443rd Birthday

Debra Messing, Rainn Wilson, Richard Kind, Michael Cerveris and Philip Bosco will be among the performers at The Shakespeare Society's second annual free Shakespeare Birthday Marathon on April 9 at 6:30 PM at the Kaye Playhouse.

Other performers celebrating the Bard's 443rd birthday will include Michael Cumpsty, Norm Lewis, Jeremy Shamos, Peter Ackerman, Oscar Isaac, David Costabile, John Cariani and Kristine Nielsen.

The actors will perform scenes, speeches and songs from the Bard's comedies and romances such as A Winter's Tale, The Tempest and Much Ado About Nothing.

The event will also include an excerpt of Kenneth Branagh's upcoming film version of As You Like It starring Kevin Kline, Bryce Dallas Howard and Alfred Molina.

The Kaye Playhouse is located at Hunter College on 69th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues. The event is free and open to the public. For more information visit www.shakespearesociety.org or call (212) 327-3399.
