Bebe Neuwirth and Eric Bogosian will host the 22nd annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway May 7 at New World Stages.

Cut-off date for eligibility is March 31. Nominations will be announced April 3 on www.LortelAward.com.

This year, Christopher Durang (Adrift in Macao, Betty's Summer Vacation, Beyond Therapy) will be honored with a star on Playwrights' Sidewalk, in front of the Lucille Lortel Theatre on Christopher Street.

Actors' Fund of America will be presented with a Special Award in honor of 125 years of service.

Awarded since 1986, the Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the League of Off-Broadway Theatres & Producers by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Foundation. Additional support is provided by Theatre Development Fund.

The awards ceremony will begin at 6:30 PM May 7 at New World Stages, 340 W. 50th Street.

The 2007 Lucille Lortel Awards nominating/voting committee is appointed by the League of Off-Broadway Theatres & Producers, the Lucille Lortel Foundation, Actors' Equity Association, Society of Stage Directors & Choreographers, and also includes journalists, educators, and other Off-Broadway theatre professionals.

A nominees' cocktail reception will be held April 23 at Ruth's Chris Steak House at 148 West 51st Street.

Beginning April 3, a limited number of general public tickets, for the ceremony only, will go on sale through the New World Stages box office and Telecharge.com at (212) 239-6200.
