Signature Theatre now knows which witches will bewitch Marc Kudisch's devil in the U.S. premiere of The Witches of Eastwick, the musical.

The Arlington, VA, company announced that Broadway vets Christiane Noll (as Jane), Jacquelyn Piro Donovan (as Suki) and Tony Award nominee Emily Skinner (as Alexandra) will star in the Eric Shaeffer-directed production this summer.

As previously announced, Marc Kudisch (Assassins, The Apple Tree, NYCO's The Pirates of Penzance) is playing Darryl Van Horne (Jack Nicholson played the part in the film version of the John Updike novel).

Noll starred in Broadway's Jekyll & Hyde and Off-Broadway's Little by Little and A Fine and Private Place. Piro Donovan's credits include Les Misérables and Miss Saigon on Broadway, plus Off-Broadway's The Ark and Suburb. Skinner is a Tony Award nominee for Side Show, and appeared in Broadway's Dinner at Eight, The Full Monty and James Joyce's The Dead.

Performances will play Signature's MAX space June 5-July 15. The musical, which had a West End run directed by Schaeffer and produced by Cameron Mackintosh, has book and lyrics by John Dempsey, music by Dana P. Rowe and is based on the novel by John Updike and the Warner Bros. motion picture.

A spokesperson for Signature told Playbill.com that Schaeffer has been working with Rowe and Dempsey on revisions to both the book and score. Some musical numbers have been shifted, and new ones have been added. A private reading of the new material was held in January in New York City.

According to Signature, "In the tiny New England town of Eastwick, Rhode Island, three unhappy women innocently plot and conjure for their perfect man over a heady brew of brownies and weak martinis. When their longings are made flesh in the arrival of one Darryl Van Horne, all hell breaks loose. Quite literally. The devilishly good Witches of Eastwick flies into Signature for its American premiere courtesy of the same creative team who brought us The Fix."

The production's creative team includes musical director Jon Kalbfleisch, set designer Walt Spangler, costume designer Alejo Vietti, lighting designer Chris Lee and orchestrator Bruce Coughlin.
