By Greg Kalafatas
15 Mar 2007

Broadway for Medicine, a benefit to raise money for the National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction, was held at City Center March 12.

According to their website, the NFFR "addresses the plight of children with a facial disfigurement by supporting state-of-the-art treatment, innovative research, psychosocial support and medical training that inspires a new generation of pediatric doctors."

Performers at the event included Betty Buckley, Kate Burton, Hugh Panaro, Lisa Vroman, Josh Strickland, Jenn Gambatese, Chester Gregory II, Charles Busch, Manoel Felciano, Malcolm Gets, Deborah Gibson, Joanna Gleason, Debbie Gravitte, Julie Halston, Mimi Hines, Judy Kuhn, Andrea McArdle, Howard McGillin, Donna McKechnie and Rosie's Broadway Kids.

The concert featured Broadway songs under the artistic direction of Carl Andress. Grammy and Emmy Award winner John McDaniel was the program's musical director.
