Rinna and Hamlin Will Dance Into Broadway's Chicago

Husband-and-wife actors Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna will join the Broadway company of the Tony-winning revival of Kander and Ebb's Chicago this summer.
Hamlin and Rinna will play, respectively, slick lawyer Billy Flynn and merry murderess Roxie Hart in the long-running production at the Ambassador Theatre. They will begin their New York run June 19 and stay with the company through July 29, according to a production spokesperson.
Prior to her Broadway debut, Rinna will join the national tour of Chicago, playing Roxie in Portland, OR, at the Keller Auditorium (May 29-June 3) and in Dallas, TX, at the Music Hall at Fair Park (June 5-17).
Harry Hamlin — of "L.A. Law" fame — has appeared on Broadway in the revivals of Awake and Sing! and Summer and Smoke. Chicago will mark Lisa Rinna's Main Stem debut. Rinna is best known for her work on "Melrose Place" and "Days of Our Lives" and as the co-host of "Soap Talk."
The Broadway production of Chicago currently features Bebe Neuwirth as Roxie Hart, Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Phillip Casnoff as Billy Flynn, Rob Bartlett as Amos Hart, Roz Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
Chicago recently changed its performance schedule. Show times are now Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, Tuesdays and Sundays at 7 PM with matinees Saturdays and Sundays at 2 PM.
Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.
Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 215 West 49th Street.
