Miss Witherspoon, Mauritius, Britannicus Top Boston's Norton Award Nominations

Miss Witherspoon received five nominations and Mauritius and Britannicus received four each in the 25th annual Elliot Norton Award nominations for Boston theatre.

The top theatres were New Repertory Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage Company, Lyric Stage Company of Boston (which produced Christopher Durang's Miss Witherspoon), American Repertory Theatre (which produced Jean Racine's Britannicus) and the Huntington Theatre Company (Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius).

The awards, bestowed by the Boston Theatre Critics Association, will be given out at the Cutler Majestic Theatre May 21 at 7 PM.
