Kelli O'Hara Headlines Keen Company Benefit April 22

By Zachary Pincus-Roth
22 Apr 2007

Kelli O'Hara headlines Keen Company's seventh annual benefit, entitled The Kelli O'Hara Show, April 22 at Theatre Row.

The Tony-nominated star of The Pajama Game and The Light in the Piazza will perform "an evening of sparkling songs," according to press notes.

Auction items at the benefit include a pair of house seats to Broadway's Talk Radio and a backstage visit with star Liev Schreiber; a shooting script from the NBC hit show "30 Rock," signed by Alec Baldwin; and a movie poster from the film "The Prestige," signed by star Hugh Jackman. The auction will be live and online at www.charitybuzz.com.

The Honorary Benefit Committee includes David Auburn, Jack Gilpin, Tina Howe, Brian d'Arcy James, Kelli O'Hara and Marian Seldes.

O'Hara received her first Tony Award nomination for The Light in the Piazza and her second for the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of The Pajama Game. She recently appeared in My Fair Lady with the New York Philharmonic and also made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall when she performed with the New York Pops in a concert titled Broadway: Then and Now.

The Drama Desk Award-winning Keen Company has the mission of producing sincere plays. "Inspired by the works of early 20th Century American playwrights, Keen Company is not afraid of emotional candor, vulnerability or optimism," according to press notes.

Tickets are $200 per person. For tickets and more information, call (212) 216-0963.
