PHOTO CALL: 2007 Drama Desk Nominee Reception

By Greg Kalafatas
03 May 2007

The nominees for the 2007 Drama Desk Awards were announced April 26 at the New York Friars Club.

Leading the pack was the new musical LoveMusik, which garnered 12 nominations, including one for Outstanding Musical. Four other productions received 10 nominations apiece: Curtains, Legally Blonde, Spring Awakening and The Coast of Utopia.

The nominees, which can include Broadway, Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway productions, gathered to celebrate their achievements.

The Drama Desk, which presented its first awards in 1955, is an organization of theatre critics, writers and editors that honors all areas of New York theatre.
