Tony Award winner Randy Graff, most recently on Broadway in the revival of Fiddler on the Roof, will play the title role in the upcoming production of Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! at the St. Louis Muny, the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theatre.

According to a spokesperson for the Muny, the starry company will also feature Lewis Stadlen as Horace, Kate Baldwin as Irene, James Clow as Cornelius, Jen Cody as Minnie Fay, Telly Leung as Barnaby and Kendal Sparks as Ambrose Kemper. The production will play the outdoor venue July 9-15.

Lee Roy Reams, who directed the most recent Broadway revival of Dolly!, will direct at the Muny as well. The creative team also includes Randy Slovacek (choreographer), Michael Horsely (musical director), Michael Anania (set designer), F. Mitchell Dana (lighting designer) and Nevin Hedley (stage manager).

Hello, Dolly!, suggested by Thornton Wilder's "The Matchmaker," features a score by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart. Directed and choreographed by Gower Champion, the original production opened in January 1964 at the St. James Theatre, playing 2,844 performances before closing Dec. 27, 1970. The original cast featured Carol Channing, Eileen Brennan, David Burns, Jerry Dodge, Alice Playten, Charles Nelson Reilly and Ken Ayers. The musical won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Actress in a Musical (Channing).

The complete Muny season will feature Oklahoma! (June 18-24), Grease (June 25-July 3), Hello, Dolly! (July 9-15), Peter Pan (July 16-22), The Pajama Game (July 23-29), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (July 30-Aug. 5) and Les Misérables (Aug. 6-15).

Randy Graff received a Tony Award for her performance in Cy Coleman's City of Angels, and her other Broadway credits include Fiddler on the Roof, A Class Act, High Society, Moon Over Buffalo, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Falsettos and Les Misérables as well as the City Center Encores! production of Do Re Mi. Off-Broadway she was seen in The Long Christmas Ride Home, Hotel Suite, A...My Name Is Alice, Coming Attractions and Pins and Needles as well as in the Williamstown Theatre Festival's mounting of The Threepenny Opera. Graff's screen credits include "Notes from the Underbelly," "Keys to Tulsa," "Moon Over Broadway," "Mad About You" and "Law & Order."
