Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, who danced into the Tony-winning revival of Kander and Ebb's Chicago June 19, have extended their stay in the long-running production by one week.

Originally scheduled to play the roles of Roxie Hart and Billy Flynn through July 29, the married couple will now stay with the musical at the Ambassador through Aug. 5.

In a statement actress Rinna said, "Being on Broadway is truly one of the most thrilling things I've done in my career. And to be starring in this great show with my husband right on stage with me has been a dream come true for both of us. But these six weeks went by so quickly! Luckily, we now get to play Roxie and Billy for a little longer than we expected."

Prior to her Broadway debut, Rinna joined the national tour of Chicago, playing Roxie in Portland, OR, at the Keller Auditorium and in Dallas, TX, at the Music Hall at Fair Park .

Harry Hamlin — of "L.A. Law" fame — has appeared on Broadway in the revivals of Awake and Sing! and Summer and Smoke. Chicago marks Lisa Rinna's Main Stem debut. Rinna is best known for her work on "Melrose Place" and "Days of Our Lives" and as the co-host of "Soap Talk."

The Broadway production of Chicago currently features Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Rob Bartlett as Amos Hart, Roz Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

Show times are Tuesday and Sunday evenings at 7 PM, Wednesday-Saturday evenings at 8 PM with matinees Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM.

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.

Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 215 West 49th Street.
