Productions of Kander and Ebb's hit revival Chicago on both sides of the pond will welcome two new Mama Mortons beginning this summer.

Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox will begin performances as prison matron Mama Morton in the Broadway production of Chicago on Aug 7. Lenox will belt out "When You're Good to Mama" for eight weeks, concluding her run on Sept. 30.

Lenox, who earned a Tony for her dramatic work in John Patrick Shanley's play Doubt, is no stranger to the musical stage, having stood by for Tonya Pinkins in Caroline or Change, as well as starring in the revivals of Kiss Me, Kate, How to Succeed in Business… and the original productions of Dreamgirls and Ain't Misbehavin'.

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, the London production of Chicago will get its own new Mama, when Kelly Osbourne steps into the role on Sept. 10. Osbourne will get to prove her theatrical mettle to London audiences through Oct. 27.

Television audiences know Osbourne from the Emmy winning reality television series "The Osbournes", which depicted home life with her rock legend father, Ozzy Osbourne. Kelly Osbourne has released two CD's of her own entitled "Shut Up!" and "Sleeping in the Nothing."

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.

In New York, Chicago plays Broadway's Ambassador Theatre, located at 215 West 49th Street.

The London production currently plays the West End's Cambridge Theatre, for tickets call (0)870 890 1102.
