The Journey to Jersey Boys is the title of the Aug. 13 presentation at the Ars Nova on West 54th Street.
Directed by Holly-Anne Ruggiero, who is the assistant director for the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys, Journey will play the intimate theatre at 8 PM. The cast features Jersey Boys cast members Travis Cloer, Heather Ferguson, Jennifer Naimo, Erica Piccinnini and Sara Schmidt.
"You've heard the story of The Four Seasons," read press notes for Journey to Jersey Boys, "now hear the amazing stories of the five performers who make Frankie Valli and his family come to life eight shows a week. From wild auditions to singing in front of a crowd of 1,300, [five actors] tell the story of their journey to Jersey Boys and what has kept them in the hit Broadway show for three years."
The evening features musical direction by Jim Abbott.
