"You're the One That I Want" Contestant Doreck to Join Altar Boyz Cast

Chad Doreck, one of the Danny wannabes on the NBC reality competition "Grease: You're the One That I Want," will join the cast of Off-Broadway's Altar Boyz in September.
Beginning Sept. 3 Doreck will play the role of Matthew in the long-running Off-Broadway production at New World Stages. Doreck will succeed actor Matthew Buckner.
Chad Doreck was labeled "Ambitious Danny" on the Grease casting program. He is also the voice of Crackle for Rice Krispies.
The cast of Altar Boyz also currently features Landon Beard, Jay Garcia, Ryan J. Ratliff and Ryan Strand.
A 2005 Outer Critics Circle winner, Altar Boyz is directed by Stafford Arima with choreography by Christopher Gattelli. Music and lyrics are by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker with book by Kevin Del Aguila, based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport.
In addition to the successful Off-Broadway production, Altar Boyz recently completed a national tour and also premiered worldwide productions in South Korea, Hungary, Brazil, Sweden, Finland, Australia and Japan.
