Broadway favorite Judy McLane returns to the role of Tanya in the Broadway company of Mamma Mia! at the Sept. 26 matinee performance.

That afternoon performance also marks the arrival of Christopher Shyer and Ben Livingston as, respectively, Sam Carmichael and Harry Bright, two of the former loves of Donna Sheridan (played by Carolee Carmello). Both Shyer and Livingston are making their Broadway debuts in the hit musical at the Winter Garden Theatre.

McLane, Shyer and Livingston join a company that includes Carmello as Donna Sheridan, Carey Anderson as Sophie Sheridan, Gina Ferrall as Rosie, Andy Kelso as Sky and Pearce Bunting as Bill Austin.

Judy McLane, who received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her performance as Vienna in Off-Broadway's Johnny Guitar, has appeared on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman, Aspects of Love and Chess. She starred in the tours of Into the Woods, Big, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Side By Side By Sondheim. Her many other theatrical credits include Follies, Victor/Victoria, Evita, Man of La Mancha, Oliver!, Nine and Kiss Me, Kate.

Christopher Shyer appeared in the Canadian premieres of Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, The Phantom of the Opera and Sunset Boulevard. His other theatrical credits include productions of Going Down Swingin', The Good Life, Night of the Iguana, El Salvador, Dracula—A Chamber Musical and Assassins.

Ben Livingston's theatre credits include Man From Nebraska, Arcadia, Hay Fever, Gross Indecency, Measure for Measure, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Love's Labours Lost, Merry Wives of Windsor, Man and Superman, Dr. Faustus, Macbeth, Ghosts, Noises Off, Merchant of Venice and Julius Caesar.

Mamma Mia! employs the hit songs of famed pop group ABBA to tell the story of Sophie Sheridan, a young girl who hopes to discover the identity of her father. On the eve of her wedding, she brings three men from her mother Donna's past back to the Greek island they visited over two decades ago.

Mamma Mia! features music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, a book by Catherine Johnson, direction by Phyllida Lloyd and choreography by Anthony Van Laast. The musical plays the Winter Garden Theatre, which is located in New York City at 1634 Broadway.

A film version of Mamma Mia! — starring Meryl Streep, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan – is currently underway.
