Callaway, Errico, Marcovicci, Seldes and More Will Celebrate Symphony Space's 30th Anniversary

A host of stars from the stage and screen will take part in the upcoming celebration of Symphony Space's 30th anniversary.

Entitled A Red Letter Day: Symphony Space's 30th Anniversary Celebration, the evening will be held in the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre Jan. 10, 2008, at 8 PM. Among those currently scheduled to be part of the celebration are Rene Auberjonois, Ivy Austin Theodore Bikel, Roy Blount Jr., Liz Callaway, Kathleen Chalfant, The Chalks, Melissa Errico, Barbara Feldon, Thomas Gibson, Sheldon Harnick, Cynthia Harris, Paul Hecht, Mary Beth Hurt, Dana Ivey, Linda Lavin, Robert MacNeill, Andrea Marcovicci, Malachy McCourt, Anne Meara, Phyllis Newman, Rochelle Oliver, Leonard Nimoy, Marian Seldes, Jerry Stiller, Estelle Parsons, David Strathairn, Maria Tucci, Fritz Weaver, Douglas Webster and Harris Yulin.

"Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating our first thirty years and featuring an unbelievable line-up of the artists who have helped make Symphony Space a beacon of arts and entertainment in New York City," reads the official Symphony Space website. "From Hollywood's biggest actors to Grammy Award-winning musicians, from cinema legends to world renowned dancers, join us as friends, old and new, help ring in the next thirty years."

Symphony Space was launched Jan. 9, 1978, with "Wall to Wall Bach." The famed venue "fosters artistically and culturally diverse performing arts, literary, and film programs that bring artists and audiences together in an atmosphere of exploration and intimacy."

Symphony Space is located in Manhattan at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street. Tickets for the upcoming event, priced $20-$40, are available by visiting www.symphonyspace.org.
