New York Women in Film and Television will present an evening with Golden Globe winner Marsha Mason Oct. 22.

Mason, who is currently starring in the Playwrights Horizons production of A Feminine Ending, will take part in the "Conversations With . . ." series at Tribeca Cinemas. Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cristofer will conduct the 6:30 PM interview with actress Mason.

A reception will follow the interview.

Terry Lawler, executive director of NYWIFT, said in a statement, "We are thrilled to be adding Marsha Mason to the list of award-winning actors, directors and producers who have participated in our 'Conversations with...' series. Because of Marsha's long list of triumphs in both film and theatre, and the diversity and range of her acting, her insights will be invaluable to our professional membership."

Previous "Conversations With" discussions featured Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Lynn Redgrave, Sally Field, Lee Grant, S. Epatha Merkerson and Jane Rosenthal.

Marsha Mason is a four-time Academy Award nominee (perhaps best known for "The Goodbye Girl") and appeared on Broadway in The Good Doctor, Roundabout's Night of the Iguana and the recent Steel Magnolias.

Tribeca Cinemas is located in Manhattan at 54 Varick Street. Tickets are free for NYWIFT members and $10 for non-members. To register for the evening visit www.nywift.org.
