Tony-winning director Michael Mayer as well as Philip Coltoff and C. Warren Moses will be honored at the annual awards dinner and gala for Theatreworks/USA, the not-for-profit professional theatre for family audiences.

The Oct. 22 celebration, hosted by The Ritz's Kevin Chamberlin, will be held at the Rainbow Room high atop Rockefeller Center. The evening will begin at 6 PM with a cocktail reception followed by the dinner and gala presentation at 7 PM. The gala will boast performances from John Bolton, Joe Iconis, John Gallagher Jr., Lauren Pritchard, Seth Rudestky and The Children's Aid Society Choir.

TheatreworksUSA's Goodworks Award, which was established in 1985, is awarded to individuals who "have made outstanding contributions in the fields of business, philanthropy and/or the arts," according to press notes. In 1992 the award was renamed the Lee Salk Goodworks Award in memory of the late Theatreworks board member.

Kimberly Davis, president of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, will present the award to Philip Coltoff, a "leader and innovator in the field of social work and social services, having dedicated his career to improving the lives of those less fortunate both within New York City and far beyond."

Maeve Gyenes, a 12-year member of the Children's Aid Society Board of Trustees, will present the award to C. Warren Moses, the Chief Executive Officer of that society.

Spring Awakening's John Gallagher Jr. will present the award to his director, Michael Mayer, who has "contributed richly to the cultural landscape of New York City." Mayer's other directorial credits include 'night, Mother; After the Fall; Thoroughly Modern Millie; An Almost Holy Picture; Uncle Vanya; You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; The Lion in Winter; Side Man; A View From the Bridge; and Triumph of Love.

Tickets for the event, priced $500-$1,000, are available by calling (212) 647-1100, ext. 131. For more information visit www.theatreworksusa.org.
