Claire Moore, who created the role of Ellen in the original London cast of Miss Saigon, will make her U.S. concert debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall.
Claire Moore and Simon Hale: Back 2 Back in Concert, which features vocals by Moore and Hale on piano, will be presented at the intimate venue Oct. 25 at 8 PM. Moore will also be backed by a string trio from Spring Awakening: Olivier Manchan, Hiroko Taguchi and Benjamin Kalb.
Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes by Kander and Ebb, Stephen Sondheim and Bricusse and Newley as well as some original songs by Moore and Hale.
Claire Moore has appeared in the West End productions of The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Camelot, Little Shop of Horrors, The King and I and Les Misérables. She also was seen in the Royal National Theatre productions of The Duchess of Malfi, The Critic, The Real Inspector Hound and The Cherry Orchard.
