Ol' Blue Eyes Is Back: Our Sinatra Returns Off-Broadway Nov. 16

By Adam Hetrick
01 Nov 2007

Our Sinatra, the musical celebrating the songbook of the late blue-eyed crooner, will return Off-Broadway Nov. 16.

After two successful national tours and numerous regional productions, Our Sinatra will begin previews Nov. 16 at the Songbook Theatre at the Broadway Comedy Club. The open-ended run officially opens Nov. 20.

The Our Sinatra cast includes Christopher Gines, Harmony Keeney and Elliot Roth under the direction of Kurt Stamm. Richard Maltby, Jr. serves as production supervisor with Robert Cangemi as lighting designer.

Our Sinatra, conceived by Eric Comstock, Hilary Kole and Christopher Gines, originally opened at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room in 1999 and was subsequently expanded into a complete Off-Broadway show at the Blue Angel Theatre later that year. The production later moved to Dillon's Reprise Room, where it ran for two years, and also played stints at Birdland and Feinstein's at the Regency.

The musical features over 50 of Sinatra's signature tunes, including "All or Nothing," "I’ll Never Smile Again," "Oh, Look at Me Now," "My Kind of Town," "All the Way", "One for My Baby," "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning," "Night and Day," "Fly Me to the Moon" and "The Lady is a Tramp."

Tickets, priced $60 (orchestra) and $85 (ringside VIP), are available by calling (212) 239-6200 or by visiting www.Telecharge.com.

The Songbook Theatre at Broadway Comedy Club is located at 318 West 53rd Street in Manhattan.
