Two performances of Eric Idle's new play, What About Dick?, will be presented at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood Nov. 10 and 11.

Featuring music by Idle's Spamalot collaborator, John Du Prez, What About Dick? will play the Montalban Nov. 10 at 8 PM and Nov. 11 at 5 PM. The starry cast includes Idle and Du Prez as well as Billy Connolly, Tim Curry, Eddie Izzard, Jane Leeves, Emily Mortimer, Tony Palermo, Jim Piddock and Tracy Ullman.

Press notes describe the new work as "a lowbrow comedy about highbrow people, [where] eight actors are gathered together to perform a classic radio drama 'What About Dick?' live on stage at the original Lux Radio Theater in 1948 (now the Ricardo Montalbán)."

Eric Idle penned the book, lyrics and music — the latter with John Du Prez — for the Tony-winning musical Spamalot. The musical is based on the screenplay for "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," which was written by Idle, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Graham Chapman. Idle was nominated for Tonys for Best Book and Best Score (with Du Prez) for Spamalot.

The Ricardo Montalbán Theatre is located at 1615 Vine Street in Hollywood, CA. Tickets, priced $35, are available by visiting www.goldstarevents.com.
