Because of the current strike by Local One, the Broadway stagehands, the remainder of the limited engagement of the pop group Duran Duran at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre — one of the Broadway houses darkened by the strike — will instead be presented at the Roseland Ballroom.

"Fans with tickets to see any one of Duran Duran's last three Broadway shows (November 10, 12 or 13)," a press release states, "can now see the band perform at the Roseland Ballroom, just a few blocks from the original location, on Monday [Nov.] 12th or Tuesday [Nov.] 13th of this coming week. All tickets for Monday and Tuesday's shows will be honored on the nights that they were originally issued for. Tickets for Saturday night's show (the 10th) will be honored on either Monday or Tuesday. All fans will need to bring their original tickets with them in order to enter the new venue. Fans with tickets held at the Barrymore Theatre box office (which is currently closed due the strike) will need to come with proof of purchase to the Roseland Box Office where duplicate tickets will be available."

Doors at the Roseland Ballroom — located at 239 West 52nd Street — will open at 8 PM for the 9 PM concerts.

The Grammy-winning British pop group Duran Duran — whose hit singles include "Planet Earth," "Save a Prayer" and "Ordinary World" — made its Broadway debut Nov. 1 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Simon LeBon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor were scheduled to play a limited engagement at the West 47th Street venue through Nov. 13. The show, entitled Duran Duran: Red Carpet Massacre, celebrates the group's upcoming CD, "Red Carpet Massacre," which will be released by Epic Records Nov. 13.
