Broadway's James Barbour, seen in the recent Asolo Repertory Theater's Broadway-aimed musical A Tale of Two Cities, will perform a benefit concert for the resident Equity theatre Jan. 14, 2008.

At the Sarasota, FL, theatre, Barbour will sing his favorite Broadway show tunes on the troupe's mainstage. The performance starts at 8 PM.

Barbour's Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast, Jane Eyre and Assassins. He recently toured as Lancelot in a revised revival of Camelot.

In Jill Santoriello's A Tale of Two Cities, he played the selfless Sydney Carton.

"If you could not get ticket to the sold out run of A Tale of Two Cities, this is your chance to experience James Barbour's incredible voice in concert," according to Asolo.

A lobby reception with James Barbour will follow. Ticket prices are $85 (orchestra and front mezzanine), $65 (rear mezzanine) and $45 (balcony).

For tickets call (941) 351-8000 or (800) 361-8388 or visit www.asolo.org.
