Hello, Broadway! All Shows Will Be Back in Business Nov. 29

It's so nice to have you back where you belong, Broadway. For the first time in 19 days, all Broadway shows will be on tonight.

Playbill.com confirmed as of 11 AM Nov. 29 that every Broadway show that was stalled by the recent strike (as well as shows that were not affected, of course) will indeed be performing Thursday, Nov. 29, the first day after the 19-day strike ended.

The Homecoming, which would have begun previews Nov. 23 had the strike not happened, is in tech and a first preview date has not been announced.

Broadway's current shows include:

  • Avenue Q at the Golden Theatre
  • A Bronx Tale at the Walter Kerr Theatre
  • A Chorus Line at the Schoenfeld Theatre
  • Cyrano de Bergerac at the Richard Rodgers Theatre
  • August: Osage County at the Imperial Theatre
  • Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre
  • The Color Purple at the Broadway Theatre
  • Curtains at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre
  • Cymbeline at the Vivian Beaumont Theater
  • Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the St. James Theatre
  • The Drowsy Chaperone at the Marquis Theatre
  • The Farnsworth Invention at the Music Box Theatre
  • Grease at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre
  • Hairspray at the Neil Simon Theatre
