By Kenneth Jones
29 Nov 2007

If you attend Off-Broadway's well-received new musical Make Me a Song: The Music of William Finn Dec. 1-2, your cheering and applause may be preserved for the ages on the live cast album being recorded.

Ghostlight Records will be in the house for four performances this weekend recording the company of the new revue at New World Stages.

The recorded performances will be Dec. 1 (5 PM and 9 PM) and Dec. 2 (3 PM and 7 PM). The recording will be produced by Grammy-winning producer Joel Moss and Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records president Kurt Deutsch.

New World Stages is at 340 W. 50th Street. Under the direction and conception of Rob Ruggiero, the production features Sandy Binion, D.B. Bonds, Adam Heller and Sally Wilfert, with Darren R. Cohen serving as musical director and pianist. The musical celebration of songs by Tony Award winner Finn is presented by Junkyard Dog Productions (Randy Adams, Sue Frost, Kenny Alhadeff), Larry Hirschorn and Jayson Raitt.
