Scott Bakula, who starred in the Ford's Theatre's production of Shenandoah, will perform a concert at the Sidney Harman Hall to benefit the Washington, DC, theatre.

Dennis Deal will direct An Evening with Scott Bakula, which will be presented Jan. 18, 2008. Bakula, who will be backed by a five-piece band, will offer songs spanning his entire career. The 7 PM evening will also feature the Duke Ellington Jazz Choir.

In a statement Paul Tetreault, director of Ford's Theatre, said, "Ever since the successful run of Shenandoah in 2006, Scott and I have been discussing new projects and ways to work together. I am thrilled to create this very special evening to share with Washington audiences."

Proceeds will benefit the renovation and expansion campaign for Ford's Theatre.

Stage and screen star Scott Bakula played Joe DiMaggio in Broadway's Marilyn: An American Fable and received a Tony nomination for his starring role in Romance/Romance. He also won a Golden Globe Award for his work on the TV series "Quantum Leap."

Tickets are available by calling (202) 547-1122 or by visiting www.fords.org. The Sidney Harman Hall is located at 907 F Street, NW in Washington, DC.
