A host of stars from the stage and screen will take part in the upcoming celebration of Symphony Space's 30th anniversary.

Symphony Space's Star-Studded Birthday Bash will be presented Jan. 10, 2008, at 8 PM in the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre. The evening will feature live performances and readings to honor the history of Symphony Space and welcome its future.

Among those currently scheduled to entertain are Alec Baldwin, Fionnula Flanagan, Fritz Weaver, Leonard Nimoy, Jane Curtin, Anne Meara, Jerry Stiller, Frank McCourt, Calvin Trillin, Robert MacNeil, Andrea Marcovicci, Jacques d'Amboise, David Straithairn, Blair Brown, Donna Murphy, Sheldon Harnick, Estelle Parsons, Marian Seldes, Theodore Bikel, David Amram and Thomas Gibson.

"Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating our first thirty years and featuring an unbelievable line-up of the artists who have helped make Symphony Space a beacon of arts and entertainment in New York City," reads the official Symphony Space website. "From Hollywood's biggest actors to Grammy Award-winning musicians, from cinema legends to world renowned dancers, join us as friends, old and new, help ring in the next thirty years."

Symphony Space was launched Jan. 9, 1978, with "Wall to Wall Bach." The famed venue "fosters artistically and culturally diverse performing arts, literary, and film programs that bring artists and audiences together in an atmosphere of exploration and intimacy."

Symphony Space is located in Manhattan at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street. Tickets for the upcoming event, priced $20-$40, are available by visiting www.symphonyspace.org. Premium seats are priced $150 or $250.
