The National Yiddish Theatre – Folksbiene's annual cabaret dinner gala is being held Dec. 10 at the Manhattan Center Studios.

The evening honors Sesame Workshop and McGraw-Hill's Charlotte K. Frank, one of the country's leading authorities on education. Among those scheduled to be part of the event are Tony winner Bebe Neuwirth; The Ritz's Andrea Burns; Tony winner Sheldon Harnick; Peter, Paul & Mary's Peter Yarrow; "Sesame Street" actor Bob McGrath and his friend Grover. There will be performances in English and Yiddish.

The 6 PM gala benefits the Drama Desk Award-winning theatre, which is America's sole-surviving professional Yiddish theatre. The mission of Folksbiene, which was founded in 1915, is to "be the custodian of a rich cultural legacy, while developing new works to add to this legacy."

Manhattan Center Studios is located at 311 W. 34th Street. For tickets call (212) 213-2120 or visit www.folksbiene.org.
