NYTB at the Duplex Will Kick Off with Baker and Bass

The New York Theatre Barn will debut its new monthly cabaret series Dec. 16.

Entitled NYTB at the Duplex, the premiere offering will boast performances by Ruthie Baker and Wicked's Brad Bass. Show time is 9:30 PM.

The first half of the evening will feature Baker performing her one-woman show, Of Mutts and Men. The singing actress will be accompanied by Barry Anderson on piano.

Baker will be followed by Bass, who will offer his brand-new show, A little bitty pissant country boy's cabaret . . . part 1. The show was written by Bass and Cronin with original music and direction by Cronin. Justin Mendoza will be the musical director for Bass' performance, which will also feature vocal work by Briana DeVol and Brett Teresa.

The Duplex Cabaret Theater is located in Manhattan at 61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue. There is a $10 cover charge and a two-drink minimum; call (212) 255-5438 for reservations.
