Jersey Boys Tony Winner Hoff Slated for Jan. 14 Solo Concert in NYC

By Ernio Hernandez
07 Jan 2008

Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, who currently stars as Tommy DeVito in Broadway's Jersey Boys, will appear in a New York City solo concert Jan. 14.

The solo concert show will play at the Metropolitan Room Jan. 14 at 9:30 PM.

The show, entitled "Christian Hoff Exiled," is billed as "a musical panorama with views of love and life . . . an eclectic mix of style and sound ranging from the classics, to contemporary, with a sprinkling of Broadway."

Hoff will be seen next at Florida's Cultural Trust of Palm Beaches Jan. 19. (For more information on that concert, call 800-514-3849.)

Hoff opens the Tony-winning Four Seasons musical Jersey Boys nightly on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre. The actor, who previously appeared on Broadway in The Who's Tommy, earned a Tony Award for his Jersey Boys role.

He has also been seen on stage in Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show, The Tin Pan Alley Rag, Violet and Lone Star Love. Other credits include "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "ER," "JAG," "Party of Five" and "All My Children." He provided his voice (to Guiness Book world record status) on Ed Feldman's audiobook memoir "Tell Me How You Love the Picture" as well as two American Express commercials.

For tickets to "Christian Hoff Exiled," at the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street (between Fifth and Sixth Ave.), call (212) 206-0440 or visit metropolitanroom.com.
