Josh Hamilton, Bobby Cannavale, Daniel Sunjata, Derek Phillips, Gloria Reuben and Denis O'Hare have joined the previously announced Janeane Garofalo, Bebe Neuwirth and David Strathairn for the upcoming "At War: American Playwrights Respond To Iraq" series presented by The Fire Dept.

Erica Gould directs the work that is slated for a Jan. 21-Feb. 4 run at The Bleecker Street Theatre. Performances will play Mondays evenings at 7:30 PM.

The cast will feature a rotating roster of stars. Currently slated to appear are Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago), Josh Hamilton (The Coast of Utopia), Bobby Cannavale (Mauritius), Derek Phillips ("Friday Night Lights"), Daniel Sunjata (Cyrano de Bergerac) and Fire Dept company members David Strathairn (Salome), Janeane Garofalo ("Reality Bites"), Gloria Reuben ("E.R.") and Denis O’Hare (Take Me Out).

The newly "expanded and updated version" of the Salon Series reading that took place in June, "At War: American Playwrights Respond To Iraq" is described in an announcement as "an evening of alternately moving, haunting, and funny material by noted and emerging American playwrights, woven together to present a kaleidoscope of views on the war."

Fire Dept artistic directors Jessica Blank, Erica Gould and Audrey Rosenberg have crafted the new stage project from writings penned by Blank and Erik Jensen, Bathsheba Doran, Cory Hinkle, Rajiv Joseph, Ryan Kelly, Peter Maloney, Jose Rivera, Lynn Rosen and Jonathan Schaefer.

The Fire Dept — initially inspired by The Exonerated and Brave New World: American Theatre Responds to 9/11 — "is made up of established and emerging writers, directors, actors and designers who have come together to create and produce work that cannot be replicated inside a television box or on a movie screen," according to an announcement.

Blank (The Exonerated), Gould (Brave New World) and Rosenberg (Elle) serve as artistic directors for the troupe.

Tickets for "At War: American Playwrights Respond to Iraq" at The Bleecker Street Theatre, 45 Bleecker (near Lafayette St.), are available by calling (212) 239-6200. For more information visit thefiredept.org.
